Try a matcha tea latte
I recently hopped on the matcha train and I’m loving the earthy flavor of the tea, but not the high price tag of ordering them out. So, I made up my own healthier cheaper version: matcha powder, unsweetened almond-coconut milk blend, a dash of pure almond extract, and a stevia packet. Blend it all up and you have yourself a midday treat that’s good for you too.
Color, draw, or paint
When was the last time you just sat and doodled or really took the time to let your creativity wander? It’s fun! And, it’s a relatively inexpensive way to spend time and get into the creative spirit of spring. I just purchased a set of Sakura Gelly Roll pens and I can’t wait to play around with them. It’s also looking like my Keanu Reeves coloring book is going to get a workout this month, as I’m feeling the need to put color on canvas.
Make your dentist, eye, and other doctor appointments
Are you caught up on all your doctor visits? If not, there’s no time like the present to make the appointments. Spring always seems like a good time to take care of this – the weather’s nice so getting to the appointments is a bit easier, and the season heralds fresh starts. What better time to take a fresh look at your health?
Do one thing to help the environment
Mother Earth needs our help. Pick one thing and make a change this month. Maybe you’ll start using cloth napkins at home, or using microfiber towels to clean instead of paper. Or, maybe you’ll commit to picking up trash in your local parks while taking your daily walks. Maybe you’ll be mindful of your consumption and minimize it this month. Whatever it is, you’ll make a difference!
Walk barefoot in the grass
When was the last time you walked barefoot in the grass and felt the Earth between your toes? It’s spring, do it! I challenge you to go to a park, your front yard, or any green space in your world. Take those shoes off and enjoy the feeling of the grass beneath your feet. Then post a picture to social and tag @conjurepublishing on Instagram or Facebook.
