You know those things in life that you just can’t seem to live without or that make your day a bit brighter? This is a list of those items. So, as I’m giving you my list , what’s on yours?
Things I love right now:
The Weight Watchers app. It’s loaded with recipes and helps me keep track of my food intake for the day. WW helps me maintain my weight and lose gradually, to keep it off for the long haul. I love this app, and I use it all day every day. If you’re interested in joining Weight Watchers or giving it a try, use this link for a free month.
My Quay High Key Mini sunglasses. The flat lenses look cool, but mostly they feel great on my face. I’m forever yanking sunglasses off because they don’t feel good on my face, but these don’t bother me, which is saying a lot. Plus, they’re just really cute, affordable, nice sunglasses.
This Buddha statue from Pottery Barn. I don’t own it, but I sure do want to. I’d love her in my backyard to enjoy while I’m meditating outside on nice days. Just looking at pictures of her makes me happy.
My Phillips Sonicare toothbrush. I have a whole dental regimen at night, and my Sonicare brush is right at the center. It feels like a gum massage at the end of a long day, and it’s nice to just zone out and enjoy. I know it’s crazy to love a toothbrush so much, but here we are.
My foam roller. My calves get super sore from running and walking, and this is the only thing that helps loosen them up. I’m looking into another, firmer model because I think I need the extra zip, but sometimes I don’t know what I’d do without this magic marvel to roll out my calves.
Sakura Gelly Roll pens. I have about 15 of them in a mason jar on my desk, and I randomly select a color to write with each day. It’s fun to write with a pen that sparkles and oozes out of the tip, and it’s nostalgic too.
My Nars lip crayon. I have fallen head over heels for this in the past year, and it saves me during the many, many video meetings of late. It gives me the exact amount of color I’m looking for, lasts a super long time, and I can drink and eat with it on and the color doesn’t stray all over my face like most lipsticks do for me.
My Pro-Form Pro 2000 treadmill and iFit. This piece of machinery has given me more moments of excitement, happiness, and wonder in the past four months than I can count. I waffled on even buying it, because it was a big purchase for me. I realized the value far outweighed the cost, and went ahead and made the purchase. I’m so, so happy I did. I’ve been able to walk throughout all the weather patterns we’ve had this summer, and through the iFit workout programs, I’ve practiced yoga, meditated, hiked on Mount Fuji, walked along the beaches in Caicos, visited Romania, and hiked in Scotland. I’ve never felt more engaged in a workout program in my life, or been so inspired to keep going.
